In Pool Play - The team listed on the schedule first is the team that serves first, serving team serves from outside fence end, switch sides each game when first team reaches 8 points

Top 4 teams advance to the playoff round. The 5th place team in each pool is eliminated.

Pool play standings will be based on:

1) OVERALL match Win/Loss

2) Head to Head

3) Tie-Breaker score differential. If there is a multiple-way tie, ranking will be based on score differential for those teams in the tie. The team with the highest differential will be ranked the highest of the teams that have tied. The rest will be ranked in order of differential points.

4) If teams are still tied, seeding will be determined by a coin flip. If determining 4th/5th seed – a single game to 9 will be played.

Playoff Round:

The top 2 teams from each pool will enter the championship bracket

Teams 3 and 4 will enter the consolation bracket

The top two teams in each bracket will get a bye.

Team 3 will play team 6 and team 4 will play team 5.

Games are the same format as pool play. One game to 15, win by 2.

Team 1 will then play the winner of 4 / 5 and Team 2 will play the winner of 3 / 6.

Winners will play in the championship round.

Games will be the best of three.

Each game will be to 11.

If third game is needed, teams will switch sides when a team reaches 6.

Self-Regulated Games:

Each court will be self-regulated by the players. Please do your best to ensure that you are calling balls in and out of bounds fairly.

Each team calls their own balls in or out on their own side of the court. If your team is unsure or did not see the ball, then the opponent gets the benefit of the doubt on the line calls made.

Line calls should be promptly signaled by hand or voice, regardless of how obvious they may be.

Please yell “BALL” if your ball goes into other courts

No player should question an opponent’s call unless a player should ask the opponent’s opinion if the opponent was in a better position to see the call. An opponent’s opinion, if requested, will be accepted.

If you feel like one team or another is not calling balls fairly, please contact the league director to mediate and watch over the game. The League Director or any of the league assistants will have pickleball rules available if there are questions on calls.

Time-outs will only be used to accommodate injuries. The 4.0 event will allow for a maximum of ONE time out per team per game.

Prizes

Medals will be given to the top three teams in each division

Winners of each category will receive a gift card to a local restaurant.
